OK guys I saw a reticle that looks one on my favorite reticles and I don't remember what brand it is. It is a upper brand of scope $$$...but I can't find it I could use some help...it has a center dot just like my Weaver Grand Slam Varmint EBX with no top crosshair. Thanks guys.

Smooth sir thank you for your help and the link I like the NP-2DD and the DDR-2 reticles and the new IHR is not to shabby either. Thanks for your help I was looking for something in the 4-16 or 5-20/25 range. I am going to have to look at them again and do lots of home work...I think it's time for one super nice scope in my collection. ;)

Thanks everybody for giving me some things to check out. :bthumb:

I like ihr reticle. Has a .019 moa subtension I think. For field hunting I love it. Quick target acquisition. I like it for paper too, granted my scope of Nightforce only goes to 10x. 16x obviously better 100 yard paper scope.

Good luck.
Nightforce scopes are heavy, when you get out of the compact range size wise.
But vortex scopes are too.

Well, I don't follow you because the appearance of the reticle in a 2ndFP scope does not change as you zoom in or out. Only the palm trees get larger. ;)

However, that reminds me of something that does make the 2FP reticle appear to be much larger, and that is the shorter eye-relief in the NF Comp and ATACR, compared to the NXS or any other 2FP scope with eye-relief of 3.7" or more. At first I thought the shorter ER in the Comp and ATACR was a downgrade, but after getting used to I love it. You get a big, beautiful picture.

And as long as we are shooting very low recoil rifles, who cares how short the ER is!

May not be exactly what you're looking for but it is an excellent scope, nonetheless.

I have the MOA version on my Tikka T3x .223 and a varmint profile AR. I have the MRAD version on my Tikka T3x Varmint 6.5CM which I just used for a long range shoot out to 1,000 yards a few weeks ago. Very clear glass, parallaxes down to 25 yards.

This trijicon's reticle looks somewhat similar to the Minox MR4 reticle: https://www.eurooptic.com/Trijicon-...com/Trijicon-AccuPower-45-30x56-FFP-01-mRAD-34mm-Riflescope-RS30-C-1900033.aspx

I had to dig to find a better pic of the reticle, but can't remember where I found it. Was a few weeks ago…snipershide.com is a good resource for scope arcana.

Edit: slapping my forehead: the better pic of the reticle is a pdf right above the pic of the scope in the above link. I like the Minox better.
