For Sale, a brand new Anschutz 54.18 MSR in Factory Walnut Silhouette Stock. This 22lr target gun is no longer in production and considered by many as one of the finest 22 Silhouette rifles made today. This comes with the manual, test target from Anschutz, and one magazine. I do not have the box, but this gun is new and unfired. "Except by factory for test target".
Email me at kenbirdsell@comcast.net if you require photos, serious inquiry only please.

$1,599.00 Reasonable offers and possible trade will be considered.

Thanks

Not the wrong price

Actually, I did not make a price error. This is what I paid for the gun. Champion Choice may have it in the catalogue but do they have one. My bet is no. Champion Shooters is where the information came from that said they were not being made anymore. They also said there were some actions and barrel still around but they could not oreder more.

Reguardless, this is still a great rifle, and I know it will find a good home.

Thanks for your comment and input.

I hate to say it but i just purchased a new 54-18 barrelled action-{ i did not want a stock} only 3 weeks ago { 3 were sold in that week}.Every-one seems be be saying that Anschutz won`t be making 2013 or 54-18 guns anymore----well from my point of view, they can`t make any of those models fast enough to keep up with demand so i fail to see that they wouldn`t want to meet demand now and in the future.I am happy to go out on a limb and say these guns will be around as long as i am.I {personally} don`t see any reason to "rush -in " to get any of these models.Jist my 2 cents worth. Ok, thanks for caring enough to share

All I am doing is repeating what I was told my Champion Shooters. Weather they do, or do not keep making these is really of no concern to the selling of this one. I am not asking a inflated collector price, this is a fair and reasonable price for the great rifle. I am sure you feel the same way about yours.

something I do not understand about many on this board. Why bother to post if you have no interest in buying the gun. If you feel my ad is misleading or dishonest by all means report me and tell all. if not maybe your kind words would be better received in a thread somewhere else.

Thanks again. :)

The 64 Silhouette Rifle...

or aka: 64 MSR was discontinued two years ago. The 54 MSR is still for sale through quite a few vendors.

If you can find someone to pay that price, more power to you. I've seen used 54-18 MSR for sale at $900 that were in mint condition on Guns America. Most of the time they sell for between $1100-$1300.

Try posting this in the classifieds at this site.

Good luck.

Ken.....

Another good place to post the rifle is Benchrest Central. I know alot of shooters using them for the sporter class in RBA. With a different stock, they make a great sporter rifle. You may want to consider splitting the stock from the barreled action and offering a lower price for such - it may make the deal a bit better for the buyer, and maybe you could sell the stock alone.

Thanks for the email, do I assume your making an offer on this "NEW" rifle. If so you forgot to include how much you are offering. Thanks for the up date on the 64 MS, sure are a bunch f these floating around.
"New" is only when its from a dealer. When a firearm been bought by a private party and is being resold, it is no longer "New".

i dont think the replies you got were malicious or anything ken, it was just to inform you that anschutz does still make this gun as i have just purchased one this year also. that would make your opening post misleading, as it was used as a selling point. nice gun btw and i'm sure someone will purchase it:)
